First hurdle to overcome

I'm meeting my friend for lunch today and I know that as soon as I look at the menu I'm going to be in a world of confusion!


I figured head straight for the salads, can't really go wrong. Then I read an article yesterday called 'Is your salad cheating you?' I had no idea! I figured as I don't eat 'green stuff'anyway, a salad would be a good way to go. According to this article, I should avoid caesar salad and a couple of others.To be totally honest, a caesar salad was probably the only type I knew! I understand that its because of mayo based dressings but then it started to get into colours of leaf etc etc. 


The article was so confusing, I can explain the cardiovascular system better than I understood that article yesterday.


So I've had a look at the menu and I think if I stick to a sandwich on brown, I'll be ok. Fingers crossed....... If all else fails, I'm getting my gym pass today so I'll work like a demon at the gym and burn it off

  1. I'm a sucker for a mayo based dressing, but I can't eat regular lettuce! ny other kind of leaf is fine, but iceberg and cos lettuce don't sit we'll with my delicate tum!
    Salad confuse me too, I think they do it to make you go for the calorie ladened food instead!
