Sorry but I'm having a great week......
I don't normally post in such quick succession but I am having a brilliant week this week.
Been to Commando training twice this week (will be there tonight and tomorrow as well) and I'm just feeling good about everything.
I've been out shopping on Friday (I spoke about that in my last blog) and I went out shopping again yesterday. I'm loving trying on all these new styles and when something doesn't fit, I don't mind. It gives me something to aim for. Before I wouldn't try things on, I couldn't stand the disappointment of another thing not fitting. I didn't have a choice of clothes really, I'd just buy whatever fitted me and when I found something that fit, I'd buy it in all the available colours.
Well yesterday, I wore out one of the new things that I bought on Friday, black jeggings with a grey top that was longer at the back than the front. I was so paranoid when I left the house!! I kept thinking that I had to go back to the house to change, that someone of my size should not be wearing these trousers out in public. It wasn't until we were pulling into Edinburgh Waverly that I caught a look at my reflection in the window and I realised, I didn't actually look the way I thought I did in my head. So I strutted my stuff out in Edinburgh all day!!
I went into Dorothy Perkins as well and I bought the most risque top I have ever bought, EVER!! I loved it in the shop and when I got it home I got Matt's honest opinion. He's so good when it comes to giving opinions on what I'm wearing. If he doesn't like it, he tells me so. Anyway, he liked it as well. It's more a going out top and I've put a couple of pictures of it below. I could get away without a wee vest underneath it but I think for the first outing, I'll wear a vest. I still can't believe that I'm able to shop in Dorothy Perkins. When I look in the mirror, I've always seen the character Bubbles from Little Britain looking back at me (I've put a picture below just in case you're not sure who I'm talking about). And at times, I still do but that's starting to change and I love my new outfit. Jeggings and my new top, I now just need a night out to wear it too........
